#Washington connection update#

Users are no longer able to update their name, the email address, or mobile phone number associated to a User ID from the Washington Connection Account Management page. If it cannot, do not choose that as your option to receive the confirmation code. Users should check to ensure the phone number listed can accept text messages.

This information will be used for identity when a user later logs into the site.

Email address (optional) and Mobile Phone Number (optional) fields were added to the Create New User Account page.

Users are no longer able to verify their identity via a phone call.

Once verified they are automatically redirected back to Washington Connection.

When logging into Washington Connection, users are directed to the SecureAccess Washington (SAW) website to verify their identity.

The following changes were completed to support this change: Washington Technology Solutions (WaTech) replaced their existing authentication tool with a new one. The following change was effective 03/30/21: Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Replacement
